Roz N. 2012 Fellow
Roz went from directing the Harvard-Westlake Film Festival to turning her lens on communities in Peru, Nepal, Morocco and Ghana where she provided humanitarian aid in several local communities, coordinated through ProWorld. Guiding her choice of destinations was the fact that "I know almost nothing about those countries. Roz is now attending Pitzer College.
She took a gap year because "I'd like to travel off the beaten path. I figure that college is always going to be an option, but I'll never have a more perfect time to travel the world and do humanitarian work at the same time. Before I jump into another four years of traditional schooling, I'd like to experience new cultures, broaden my perspective of the world, and help people who have it much worse than I do."
